Hello everyone!! We are Rick and Carla. We have a woodworking shop, and we make walking canes, hiking staffs, war clubs, cudgels, and Native American Talking Stick. We live in the southeastern part of Tennesse. Being in this part of Tennessee we are fortunate to be in one of the few places in the United States where Hardwoods are abundant, and this particular area offers some of the most common and rare woods that can be found anywhere in the United States.
We have found a rewarding passion for making canes and walking sticks and are happy to be able to present them to you for your enjoyment as well. Whether you are collecting them or using them you can find some very rare and amazingly beautiful sticks from us, they all are unique and one-of-a-kind pieces.

A Little About Rick
Rick was afflicted by a rare genetic eye disease called Stargardt in his early 40’s (he just turned 65 this year) and he became disabled at that time for blindness. He is legally blind and can no long drive, read or write among other things. The reason I’m bringing this up is, Rick has been learning to carve wood spirits on some of our sticks and I think he has been doing an awesome job, especially with his disability. I personally believe his work is as good as some of the experts that have been doing this work for years…and with the ability to see!

In addition to working with Rick in the wood shop I also make Native American Jewelry and Leather crafts. I have been making jewelry and leather crafts for over 25 years and selling on-line.
